Ballerz!
I know a lot of you were sad about no kickball this past Monday because of WAKAPalooza. But not to worry, we will be back next Monday! For those who went, keep the stories and photos flowing. The board and I are so very happy you all had a great time and represented Ventura well. Thank you for "Keeping It Classy!"
Here are some important updates for the second half of the season.
Week 6! Oct 21st.
- 50/50 raffle hosted by Team Awesome!
- Theme Night! Smartphone apps! Facebook? Angry Birds? iRef app?
- 1 ticket @ $2; 3 tickets @ $5; 7 tickets at $10; and 15 tickets @ $20
- Winner MUST BE PRESENT at Azar's at 11pm to claim winnings.
- Proceeds will benefit Support For The Kids
Mid-Season BBQ!
- Saturday, Oct 26th, 1pm @ Borchard Park.
- Potluck and BYOB. The league will provide burgers and dogs.

- Beer Fest! Want to try new brews out? Bring a 6-pack of something fun, unique, new or even home brewed to share with others wishing to check out different beers too!

Week 8! Nov. 4th.
- League Photo Night! Held in between the two time slots on either field one or two - whichever finishes first. More info on how to squish will come later ;)
- BINGO Night hosted by Cojones: Remix to Ignition @ Azar's
- Awesome prizes - including a free future season of WAKA kickball!
- Bring a bag of leftover Halloween candy to donate to the troops and receive a free bingo card!

End of Season Party - DATE CHANGE!
- Please note that the date has changed! Our EOS is now Sat, Dec. 14th!
- 8pm at Lava Sports Lounge in TO
- Say Cheese Photo Booth! Drink tickets for registered players! EOS Awards!

- And it can't be an EOS party without a theme! This time around break out those elf costumes, tacky Christmas sweaters, ornaments, whatever! - we're having a Merry Holiday EOS!
