Canyon Ballerz!
It's everyone's favorite: Email of Awesome! Get out your calendars, phones and other planning devices and get ready to write down our season dates; themes; and other awesomeness!
First, some housekeeping:
- RULES! It's in everyone's best interest to brush up on the rules and at least know the basics. kickball.com/rules
- Here's a fun "Rules Clinic Refresher" doc that I borrowed from our friends at the CA Westside league. HERE
- Info Board! Located on the fence of dirt #2 will be an Info Board. It'll have that evening's schedule, field map and other info you may need that evening.
- Alcohol: Peppertree has a strict No Alcohol policy. Any visible alcohol can result in us losing our permit with the city for-ev-er. Solo cups, cans/bottles in paper bags simply won't cut it. Coffee cups, reusable water bottles will cut it. Captains have already been forewarned, but if alcohol is spotted, or something that looks like it could be mistaken as such, will result in a paper forfeit for your team.
- Sportsmanship: Canyon is full of blurred memories, questionable bed-mates and regretful texts. With that being said, we are going to respect each other both on and off the field. Taunting, verbal &/or physical attacks will of course, not be tolerated.

Mid-Season Booze Bus!
Saturday, June 21st. MARGARITAVILLE THEME! Channel your inner Jimmy Buffet and join the Facebook Event HERE for the latest on this season's bus. Tickets will go on sale in a couple weeks and per usual, it WILL SELL OUT! Do not wait!
End of Season, or EOS, Party!
Saturday, July 12th. Rockband: Duos and Groups Theme! Details TBD, date subject to change.

Week 7, June 30th: Get Patriotic
Playoff Tournament!
Saturday, July 12th at 10am. This season the entire playoff tournament will take place on a sunny Saturday at Peppertree.
Rogues Night!
Each season, the lovely Rogues team hosts a "Rogues Night" at Azar's. It's highly suggested you work out your DD situation now and request the next day off of work!
Social Standings!
We're introducing the Canyon Boot! A super cool trophy up for grabs based on social points! Each week we'll announce a fun challenge to complete or compete in for social points. The winning team gets their hands on the Canyon Boot...until next season. You can follow the social standings HERE.
Week 1 Challenge: Buy a drink for a player you don't know, on another team, at Azar's. Take a photo and post it to the Facebook group with your team name and new friends name. One entry per team, worth 2 points.
And now...the schedule! You can find the link HERE Double check for bye's; double headers; reffing and equipment duties!
A few, but important, notes:
- Game times are 8pm and 9pm. There is only a 5 min. grace period to start games. Refs and equipment duties do NOT have a grace period.
- Refs and equipment need to be at the fields at least 15 min early.
- With such a small grace period, plan to ARRIVE EARLY. Parking will suck, plan accordingly.
- Players, please set up fields prior to the 8pm mark. Teams should be done warming up at game time. Please hurry on and off the field to maximize playing time.
- No new inning after the 8:50pm mark. 6 innings may be played, however 3 innings is a complete game. Late games can play until the lights go out.
The bar! Azar's is back! We love them and they love us! After games, head to Azar's for some post-game mixing and mingling. 2215 Michael Drive for your gps'.
